Academic Year Calendar 2007-2008

This is the Fawbert & Barnard's School Calendar for 2007 - 2008.

Assessment Information for Parents

It is recognised that the most productive way for children to learn is to involve them in their own learning.  As a result at Fawbert and Barnard’s children are regularly asked what they are good at and how they can improve their work. Together with the teacher, pupils develop small step targets to think about when they are working.  These are recorded in the subject book as a constant reminder.

Behaviour/Descipline Information for Parents

We provide a consistent, clear behaviour policy and a progressive system of sanctions and rewards, which is shared with pupils and followed by all staff.  As a result every pupil is afforded equal opportunity to work and learn in a safe, supportive, well disciplined environment.
